More About Me

I am an experienced community engagement professional with a passion for fostering collaboration and promoting equity across diverse communities. As the son of immigrant parents who came to Chicago in search of better opportunities, I honor their sacrifice by dedicating my career to supporting immigrant communities and promoting their advancement in education, careers, and personal development.

During my time at DePaul University and the National Autonomous University of Mexico, I worked closely with immigrant families and students, helping to create pathways to success. I have also collaborated with numerous grassroots organizations and initiatives across the Midwest, advocating for community-driven solutions that reflect the values and needs of the people I serve.

I believe that the most effective solutions to community challenges are born from within the community itself. That’s why I am committed to building strong social networks and creating opportunities for collective growth.

Currently, I work at a nonprofit supporting victims of hate and discrimination while fostering stronger connections between Asian and Latino communities on Chicago’s South Side.

In addition, I serve as the co-chair of the University Roundtable at Pilsen Neighbors, where I provide underrepresented students with resources and guidance to support college recruitment and completion.
